The Youth Farm Project is growing justice from the ground up

We are stewards of our natural and social environment.

Our work is based on the legacy of activists and change makers who have strived - historically and contemporarily - for equality and liberation for Black and other communities of color.  At YFP we believe that food sovereignty is a need, not a want, and growing food directly links us to our own liberation. Engaging our youth and community through technologies of land-based care practices we plant seeds of healing, justice, and emancipation. Growing inwards and upwards, towards a new paradigm.

Field Trips
School field trips are back !! Bring your class to the Youth Farm to get their hands dirty in the soil, observe chicken behavior, learn about honeybee life and explore life inside the compost pile. Throughout the day, we'll learn about the importance of food sovereignty, social justice, equity and gratitude.

"At the Youth Farm Project, nourishment and the ability to care for your body when and how you want and need are available. Spaces for quiet, and for gathering, for working together and for resting. Cool teas in the summer, hot teas in the winter"

SUPPORT A MORE SUSTAINABLE AND EQUITABLE FOOD SYSTEM.

When you invest in our youth, you invest in the future of our community. Our programs lead to stronger more resilient community bonds, more food producers, increased political engagement, increased sense of purpose and responsibilities, and healthier families. Invest in the movement towards food sovereignty.
