The Youth Farm Project is growing justice from the ground up
We are stewards of our natural and social environment.
Our work is based on the legacy of activists and change makers who have strived - historically and contemporarily - for equality and liberation for Black and other communities of color. At YFP we believe that food sovereignty is a need, not a want, and growing food directly links us to our own liberation. Engaging our youth and community through technologies of land-based care practices we plant seeds of healing, justice, and emancipation. Growing inwards and upwards, towards a new paradigm.
Our 2022 Annual Report is here! We invite you to read through this visual storytelling of our 2022 Annual Report designed by our Co-director Astrid Castillo! In it you will find quotes from teens, donors & alumni, how we worked with the land & with each other, how we grew 6,500 lbs of vegetables and so much more.
The Youth Farm Project now has a merch shop!
Find your favorite item and support our mission to grow food, community and youth power!! In our lovely Spreadshop you will find T-shirts for adults and children, camper mugs, crewnecks, caps, tote bags, beanies, bucket hats and more!
