The Youth Farm Project began in 2010. YFP became an independent 501c3 nonprofit in January 2021. Prior to that we were an operational project for more than ten years with a fiscal sponsor.
The YFP Board has legal and fiduciary responsibilities and is responsible for the oversight of our two co-directors and of making effective policies. They also bring a diversity of skills and perspectives particularly around education, food justice, organic farming and fundraising.

The Youth Farm Project Board of Directors is looking to recruit individuals with a strong anti-racism commitment and fundraising or grant writing skills.
