What are we planting?

YFP produce goes to the BJM's Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Snack Program, the lunch programs at the Lehman Alternative Community School, the Ithaca City School District lunch program, New Roots Charter School, Ithaca High School Lunch Program. YFP produce is sold at the Congo Square Market at Southside, the Triphammer Farmers Market, and the Cornell Farmers Market. YFP produce also goes to support hot meals programs and market boxes at GIAC and Southside Community Center, and special events (i.e. junior iron chef, etc.). To support the continuation of the Youth Farm Project, YFP sells produce to the Full Plate Farm Collective CSA and local restaurants/distibutors such as Northstar, Moosewood, Agava, and Fingerlakes Fresh. Finally, YFP produce goes home with youth employees and volunteers that work throughout the year.
