The Youth Farm Project is growing justice from the ground up
We are stewards of our natural and social environment. |
Transformative leadership skills. Reverence for the Earth and gratitude in all. Intergenerational responsibility and honor.
In our movements towards social change and education there is no bypassing having a different relationship with the earth than we do right now. We must therefore constantly strive for the optimal health of the relationship between the manifold parts of the natural world of which humans are a part. Learning how to grow food instills a sense of power and responsibility. We are a part of the natural world and food sovereignty is a need not a want. We center healing both in the land and our social environments. Real social growth and change is uncomfortable but liberation is the most exciting and enjoyable thing we can do. |
